Pros

  • Available on a wide array of platforms.
  • For a free game, the art is highly stylized and enjoyable.
  • There are many ways to play this game, including two modes.

Cons

  • In-app purchases are helpful to the gameplay.
  • The price discrepancy is odd. It's free on an iPad but $6.99 on Steam, which is quite the difference.

Vector is a parkour-style action game. In it, you play as a silhouetted man who is trying to outrun the bad guys.

The style of the game, as well as its video and pacing, are sharp, quick and will keep you engaged. The playstyle is fast and the game is easy to understand: Swipe and tap your device in order to escape the bad guys and move onto the next level. Since this game moves fast, your mind and reflexes have to respond accordingly. In this sense, the game truly deserves the "action-packed" moniker that it uses in its marketing. The soundtrack is quick and adds a sense of urgency to your games.

There are social aspects to the game as well, including a Leaderboard that serves to challenge you to do better and better. For a free game, it also comes with quite a bit of content, including dozens of levels and multiple modes to play.

Vector was developed by Nekki Limited. The game is available on a wide array of platforms, including iOS and Android systems. It is free on the iPhone (although in-app purchases are available) and listed as $6.99 on Steam.
